Embody Yoga was founded by Joanna Brooks in Milwaukee in 2015 with a mission to share the practice yoga with people of color. Since it’s founding, Embody Yoga has served hundreds of people, the majority of whom identify as people of color. Embody Yoga offers classes that are accessible, affordable, culturally relevant and welcoming to all. We invite you to join us on the mat.

How to Register For Class:
1. Click a 'Register' button below and select the class you want to take. Once you've selected a class, you will be prompted for payment.
2. Arrive 10 minutes early for class. If practicing from home, check your email 15 minutes before class for the link to join
3. Enjoy your practice
Cancellation Policy: Student have up until 3 hours before class begins to cancel their registration. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the class pass.

Private Yoga Sessions
Embody Yoga offers private yoga sessions for individuals and groups of up to 25. Perfect for those who prefer a one-on-one experience or groups celebrating a special occasion.
Yoga & Mindfulness for Schools
Embody Yoga offers yoga and mindfulness classes for youth in schools and youth servicing organizations. We teach kids poses, breathing techniques and meditation in a way that is both fun and culturally relevant.

Locating Our Studio
We are located in the Barnabas Building Complex. However, the entrance to our studio is in the back of the building and not visible from Port Washington Road. If you are headed north on Port Washington Road (heading towards Hampton Avenue), turn right at River Woods Parkway and then take the first left at Estabrook Lane. If you are headed south on Port Washington Road (headed towards Capitol Drive), make a left at River Woods Parkway and then take the first left at Estabrook Lane. Follow the road all the way to the back parking lot and enter through Door #7. Walk up the small flight of stairs and turn left. Follow signs for Embody Yoga.
