Aspiring Black Healers' Education Fund

Our mission is to help create more Black healers in the city of Milwaukee. We do this by providing partial scholarships to aspiring Black healers enrolled in programs that promote healing of the body, mind and/or spirit. The type of programs we fund include, but are not limited to, massage, reiki, acupuncture, therapy, yoga teacher training and more.

Applicants should identify as African American or of the African diaspora and live in the city of Milwaukee. Applicants must be enrolled in a training program by May 31, 2023 to be considered for this scholarship cycle. Applicants should also be able to demonstrate a financial need. Finally, we are most interested in candidates who want to offer their services in the city of Milwaukee and within communities of color.

What happens after I apply? If your application is compelling, you may be invited to participate in an interview with the scholarship fund committee. After all interviews are completed, a decision will be made and the scholarship recipient will be notified by June 30th.
